Bio: Michelle is the multi-disciplinary creative and visionary behind aplomb modern|vintage, a thoughtfully edited collection of pre-loved vintage apparel, jewelry, accessories and home décor. Her practice celebrates timeless style with a modern edge. She is a proud vintage enthusiast and her extensive collection of Black cultural ephemera is featured at her studio aplomb creative|salon, where she also hosts intimate gatherings, milestone celebrations and celebrates Black women in community. In addition, aplomb creative|salon offers personalized shopping experiences. Michelle is also the founder of Hey Brown Girl Collective, a community dedicated to celebrating the style, artistry, and creative expressions of Black women. Her work centers on elevating vintage fashion as both a sustainable choice and a form of personal storytelling.
